Certificate in Culinary Arts
This six-month course is designed for individuals with little or no kitchen experience; a prerequisite for the specialization and advance programs offered by the faculty of Culinary Arts. The program has been developed in the response to student’s interest and industry demands for highly qualified culinary practitioners.
Certificate in Baking and Pastries
This program includes intensive training in the principles of traditional pastries, dough, breads, cakes and other yeast breads. While the traditional preparations are valued, emphasis is placed on modern methods, the chemical function of ingredients, perfecting techniques and presentation.
Certificate in Halal Culinary Arts
Three-month study of every aspect in preparing Halal food, the program is based on traditional Moslem and international techniques principles. Halal culinary arts is evolved in the concept of “Halal is healthy.” Ideal for those intending to pursue kitchen employment in Moslem countries.
Certificate in Asian Culinary Arts
This program provides the students with the opportunity to explore yet another exhilarating variety of ethnic flavors, techniques and traditions. The sequence of subjects allow the students to delve into the rich bountiful array of Asian cuisines, cooking styles, and unique ingredients that define the intriguing, mystical and multi faceted cultures of Asia.
